Warframes are the biomechanically enhanced exo-suits that allow our character to do crazy stunts and blast crazy attacks. The game has 33 Warframes and 17 Prime Warframes. For the sake of this article we will highlight, in our opinion the best warframes that aren’t prime – that are free.
To be honest, there is no best warframe, there are only meta picks and your choice of play. For example, one suit can be perfect for stealth while the other is great for direct hand to hand combat. It really depends on how you play and what’s your style. Nevertheless here are our picks:
Nova – this bad boy is equipped with magnetic impulse devices and anti-matter control items. The worm hole skill which allows instant travel is very cool and it looks sleek. So Nova is the way to go if you’re a new player looking to improve your gameplay.
Loki – for the more advanced folk, there is Loki that has a ton of customizability for you to mess around with and adapt to your gameplay. Loki uses manipulation and stealth so we recommend it to the more advanced players. Switch teleport and Radial disarm combined with invisibility are more than overpowering so uses these tools wisely (just kidding, go nuts… Or not…).
Frost – like the name suggest, Frost uses cold ice to beat his enemies. He has a lot of armor and channels moisture and vapor to create frost. His strongest attack is avalanche as he creates a landslide of ice that devours all enemies in its path. Frost is one of the most fun warframes to play with.
There are, of course a lot of other fun warframes, but we singled out these ones, because of the recognition they get, the facts that Nova, Loki and Frost are the best of all worlds with something for the beginners, for the most advanced and for people looking to just have fun.
