Overwatch is full of not only new guys, but also experienced players that are capable of performing some neat stunts. But even they do not know it all, they need some tips in order to perform better, have higher kill counts and win more games. So for your entertainment, we’ve gathered a list of tips for you, the more experienced Overwatch players. Enjoy!
A quick sidenote, these tips aren’t capable of making you a better player instantly. They’re not a magical potion. These are just cool guidelines that once followed, can provide some great effects.
- Help your Support player – Most PVP games with support role players have a wide myth that these Supports are the only people responsible for the help and should save you from the mistakes you make. Don’t expect a Mercy to be there every time after you make a critical mistake… Just don’t. Think about whether your support has enough energy and his cooldowns are all set to help you. Then, attack!
- Avoid mind lapses – don’t make silly mistakes, like walking close to a Junkrat after killing him… Think about what you’re doing.
- Exploit the environment – Chokepoints and shortcuts can be exploited. Think that you might not need to kill the enemy on the ground, knock him out of the picture and let him fall to his death. It’s also possible and since the drops are lethal – crazy effective.
- Exploit the game’s mechanics – Infinite ammo is to be enjoyed and used – fire constantly. Work on the special options for characters, use melee, which surprisingly isn’t properly maintained and used by most players.
- Be patient – regroup when possible, don’t dive in to danger alone. Communicate with the team, try to analyze their movements and tendencies to better know when to strike.
