It can be very frustrating to lose. But new players might not utilize their full potential while playing because of stupid superstitions or a lack of awareness. So if you’re wondering how do I win more games? What should I do to boost up my win ratio? Mustn’t worry you should… Gamespedition has the answers right here.

For the most part, easiest roles to play are: supports and tanks. Offense and defense require a specific knowledge of the hero and in the case of Hanzo or Tracer – lightning quick reactions, pin-point accuracy and a bunch of other features that new players just can’t compete on with the experienced ones. That’s why when the opportunity comes – pick a tank or a support. They aren’t usually focused first by the enemy team + you have more health and better protection so the margin of slippage and error is a lot bigger with these roles. Anyway, if you’re a new player – be real with yourself, you probably don’t know a lot about the game and you’re going to have some stupid mistakes. Trust me, it’s better to make them as a tank rather than when on offense…

Don’t forget that you can switch. While that’s not necessarily a good idea sometimes, but if you see your team struggle with the same exact things over and over again, like them being pushed back or struggle against a particular opponent – grab a Winston or a Reaper to either take them head on or scout them one by one. It’s essential that you try out characters and learn their skills, because otherwise – you’re not improving as an Overwatch player. Look at your team, maybe you have three McRees (however that happened), choose something else and dominate your opponents.

Communicate. This is talked about everywhere, yet it seems to slip through gamers minds. Only pro players and really proficient experts of the game really appreciate and understand the true value of communication. It’s key. You can better react for a situation, prepare and understand the environment or the enemy squad.

If you picked an annoying champion we’ll be a good noodle and be a pain in a certain area for the opposition. If you chose Mei, don’t stand alone waiting for free kills, slows are particularly frustrating to be on the receiving end of so your job is to make your enemies weaker mentally and health-wise.

All in all, Overwatch requires experience, communication and bravery to win. You won’t get experience if you don’t play, you won’t win easily (or win at all) without communication and as for bravery, well you have to figure this one out for yourself.
