Fallout New Vegas – How to get past the Boomers Artillery. If you wish to get past the Boomer artillery look no further. Reaching the Boomer base might seem like a pain in the ass, but don't worry, you can get there easily with no sweat. To get past the Boomer Artillery first, get in position. Get ready to run to the left of the field. You'll see remnants of a destroyed house. Run next to it and crouch besides a wall. Wait for about 10 seconds. The bombs will stop dropping. Stand up and run to the building that you will see to the north of you. Run inside it and again, hide behind the wall. Wait the bombs out. After 10 seconds, run out of the building, and facing the north-east part of the location run to the Boomer Base. If you're fast, the bombs will not start dropping again. And now, you have avoided the artillery and you have a clear path to the Boomer Base.
