Fallout: New Vegas is full of unmarked locations and some kick-ass armors out there. Deathclaw Promontory is one of the hardest to find and to survive locations in all Mojave and Remnants Power Armor is one of the strongest Power Armors in the game. We’re going to show how to get to the Deathclaw Promontory and how to get Remnants Power Armor.
First, pop that Pip-boy and open your map. Deathclaw Promontory is going to be on the most eastern part of the map. Just behind Techatticup Mine(left part of the map) you’ll see a river that you have to cross. After crossing it you’ll see the all crazy and dangerous Deathclaw Promontory. In it, you’ll essentially see the biggest amount of Deathclaws throughout the whole game and depending on your level, there might be different Deathclaws scattered throughout the area. Deathclaws ranging from Young Deathclaws to Alpha Deathclaws might appear in different numbers. The battle might prove to be difficult, so prepare accordingly. Grab a bunch of stimpaks, some psycho and any companion. After going in and clearing it, just do a U turn around the area and you’ll see two dead prospectors lying next to each other. One of them will be sporting T-51b power armor and the other one will be wearing the unique Remnants Power Armor. Though, you’ll be missing the helmet, you’ll be an unstoppable force around the Mojave. As a side note, one of the prospectors will have on his cadaver a Multiplas rifle, a plasma weapon which is capable of shooting three shots. Combine that with critical hits and you have yourself a one crazy and practically one of the biggest damage dealers out in the Mojave.
