Tales from Candlekeep: Tomb of Annihilation is the videogame adaptation of the Tomb of Annihilation board game which is in turn based on Dungeons and Dragons adventure of the same name.

TFCK:ToA takes place on the re-emerged peninsula of Chult. A death curse has suddenly plagued all of Faerun that is causing anyone who has been resurrected with magic to slowly decay and die. Players take control of characters from Dungeons and Dragons lore including:

• Artus Cimber: A ranger formerly with the Harpers faction and current owner of the Ring of Winter.
• Asharra: An Aarakocra mage native to Chult
• Birdsong: A Tabaxi bard seeking revenge on her former Yuan-Ti enslavers.
• Dragonbait: Saurial paladin and companion to Artus.

Unlike the board game this is based on the game contains side quests, trading, crafting, and procedurally generated maps.
