Corncob 3D was an EGA flight simulator for the PC developed by . After the publishing duty was picked up by , the game was sold as Corncob Deluxe.

The game takes place in an alternate historical setting in which died long before he could start World War II. Instead, Earth is attacked by aliens, and the player is tasked with undertaking various missions to defeat the invaders.

The game's name comes from the only available plane - the Goodyear F2G Super Corsair, which used a Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major engine, which was nicknamed the 'corncob' because of its shape.
