Overview

spaceBOUND is a difficult puzzle/platforming game developed and published by Gravity Whale Games. The game was initially released through Steam's Early Access program on August 3rd 2017 for PC, Mac and Linux. It focuses around two astronauts, who after crash landing on an asteroid, resort to linking themselves together with a shared oxygen line.

Gameplay

The objective of spaceBOUND is to navigate two connected astronauts (simultaneously in singleplayer or separately in co-op) through an abandoned mining facility in search of help. Each level is filled with hazards and puzzles designed to hinder the player(s) from progressing further through the game. If either astronaut dies or their shared oxygen tether is broken then player(s) must start the level over.

The two astronauts are controlled using the left and right analog sticks on the controller, with keyboard controls being WASD and the directional keys respectively. When playing couch co-op, players can either use two separate controllers or share a keyboard/controller. There is also an option in the settings that allows one player to use a controller while the other uses a keyboard.
