Overview

Blazing Star is a sci-fi side-scrolling shoot 'em up developed by and released by for (running Neo Geo MVS hardware) and the (exclusively in Japan) in February 19, 1998.

The sequel to (and the first game from after becoming Yumekobo), Blazing Star adds five new ships to control (each with their own unique assortment of weaponry) while removing the system of the previous game and adding simultaneous two-player co-operative gameplay.

It was included in some starting in late 2015 for the , , and (both downloadable, with included, and on modern ).

• Windina (Simple) - Slow speed.
• Aryustailm (Offensive) - Fast speed.
• Peplos (Difficult) - Fast speed. Does not use power-ups.
• Dino 135 (Technical) - Normal speed.
• Dino 246 (Defensive) - Slow speed. The player's ship from Pulstar.
