Terraria what happens when you die

Death in Terraria isn’t as bad as in other video games. Once your health or oxygen meter depletes, you die and a message appears describing your death. Tombstone at the location of the passing appears, and if you had more than 10 gold coins on you at the time of death, the tombstone is going to be golden. In reality, nothing bad happens, you only lose a few items so you mustn’t worry and go face the dangers of the underworld!
