Items allow you to feel the game in a different way each and every time around. There are thousands of them in the game. Hundreds of weapons, consumables, types of armor, foods, tools and many other things that can end up in your inventory or at the side of your character at some time. Each of these item classes have numerous members and are only expanding with updates and other modifications to the game. Every item is free so you can consider every one of the items a member of the category Terraria free items. But they’re free from real world purchasing, in the game, a lot of things cost, but most of the items can be obtained by collecting drops and crafting gathered materials in to the items. There are some secret Terraria items, for example the Developer vanity items, but they’re extremely rare and hard to come by. To get any item in Terraria you either need to know who to kill in order to get it or the recipe in order to craft it.
