Gone home is full of secrets and things to find, locate and areas to explore. In this article we’re going to cover a few of the collectible items and where to find them.

Sam’s journal entries

1. Mover’s invoice. Table, left side of the foyer, close to the bathroom.
2. Sam’s bagpack, first floor hallway, door on the left leading to the basement.
3. TV ROOM, “Big Gold Star” book, near the TV.
4. Music room closet, piece of paper hanging from the jacket.
5. Hallway, close to the basement door, the bottom drawer.
6. Hallway, bookcase, between the biggest and central stairs and Sam’s room, lowest shelf.
7. The hall bathroom, a bottle next to the bathtub and the bath drawers.
8. Sitting room, upper drawer in the desk against the wall, the only drawer there.
9. Library, a secret panel, found with the first map.
10. Sam’s Locker, photo next to the basement key.
11. First basement room, table, hidden by a box.
12. Storage room, across from the trunk, a letter on a box.
13. Hallway with the safe, a list glued to the wall.
14. Junk room, a postcard on the table.
15. Hallway, across from the exit of the secret path, TV scrap on the table.
16. Secret room, letter on the table.
17. Dining room, small pink slip in the folder.
18. Garage, hat, hanging on the bike.
19. Kitchen, story on the table.
20. Hallway, secret panel next to the end of the hallway.
21. Greenhouse, map on a small table.
22. Hidden room, a key under the stairs
23. Attic, drawing on Sam’s sleeping bag.

There are also seven buttons to collect. These usually reference a real life show by making fun of real life tv shows, or making pop culture references.

1. White&Black – Hall closet, Sam’s backpack
2. Black&Red – TV Room, inside the coffee table.
3. Black&white – Her room, Sam’s desk.
4. White & Pink – Servant’s room – on the floor between the bed and the table.
5. Black&White – Secret room, on the corkboard.
6. Red&black – dining room, beneath a window.
7. Yellow&black – laundry room, next to the washing machine.

Easter eggs

Since Gone Home takes place in the 1990’s, there are a lot of references to this day and age.

• Actually there’s a 24^th Journal entry. To get it, you need to go in to garage and get a purple ball that’s on the ceiling. Take the ball to Sam’s room and look at the hoop from close to dunk it, or shoot it to score. When you score, you get the final journal entry.
• Christmas duck – this duck hides the key in the beginning. Don’t chunk it right back, carry it to the attic and hold it next to a weird nest with a leaf on the side. Hold the duck and you will return it to its rightful dwelling place.
