Overview

Betasuppe is a game created for a game competition in 2007. The game was created by a user on their forums named mjau panda. Betasuppe is a quirky hybrid platformer/text adventure game, where all of the main character's movements are controlled via text input.

The main character is described only as "a happy little blue thing" named Colin, whose wish is to spend a day at the sea. As the voice inside its head, the player must guide Colin towards the sea, doing so through inputting text commands on the bottom half of the screen, which Colin can be seen carrying out on the top half.

The game was named after a Norwegian soup.
