Part of the franchise, the game is loosely based on the 2012 Nickelodeon cartoon series, using the characters and continuity of that series, but with original character designs.. Along with four-player online co-operative gameplay (with an easy jump-in/jump-out system), the game features some elements from the series (including a similar free-form combat system and a gritty, more realistic atmosphere).
