Assassin’s Creed III is rich with weapons you can use to achieve your murderous goals. All weapons in Assassin’s Creed III (standard edition of the game):
- Normal weapons:
Normal Sword, French Rapier, Light Cavalry Saber, Hanger Sword, French Cutlass, Officer’s Sword, Cuttoe Sword, Captain Kidd’s Sawtooth Cutlass, Lincoln’s Sword (replica), Washington’s Battle Sword (replica).
In Normal weapons category the best weapon is Washington’s Battle Sword. All these weapons have the same animation. There is nothing hidden here.
- Blunt weapons:
Gunstock War Club, Wooden War Club, Stonehead War Club, Iron Blade War Club.
Blunt weapons have some cool animations. You can check some of them out in the video or try them out yourself.
- Small weapons:
Assassin Tomahawk, Stone Tomahawk, Iron Tomahawk, Stone Dagger, Iron Dagger, Dirk, War Tomahawk, “Broken Sword” Knife.
Small weapons are really awesome in Assassin’s Creed III, using them gives you some nice animations and small weapons are efficient as well. War Tomahawk and “Broken Sword” knife are the best small weapon options in Assassin’s Creed III.
- Heavy weapons:
Hessian Axe, Naval Axe, Boarding Axe, French Naval Axe.
Heavy weapons are for those who like bloody fights. French Naval Axe is the deadliest of the list here.
- Firearms:
Flintlock Pistol, Double-Barrel Pistol, Duckfoot Pistol, French Coat Pistol, English Flintlock Pistol, Royal Pistol, Naval Duckfoot, Italian Flintlock, Royal Naval Sea Service Flintlock, Pitcairn-Putnam Pistols.
There are a lot of firearms to choose from in Assassin’s Creed III. They all do the job, however it is possible to shoot twice before reloading with some of them. Otherwise choose whichever gun appeals to you the most. You will find your favorites soon enough.
- Consumables:
Arrows, Cartridge, Rope Darts, Poison Darts, Smoke Bombs, Snares, Trip Mines, Bait.
Rope Darts are pretty cool addition to your weaponry, they have some nice features that you may want to try out. Smoke Bombs come in handy when you want to escape the area or find yourself in a very unfortunate position being terribly outnumbered or similar, as you probably already know.
You also have a bow, which is useful if you want to go for a silent kill without drawing any attention to yourself. Also bows are the way to hunt without damaging the pelts. There is also a musket, that you will find around nearly every corner in Assassin’s Creed III.
And that’s it for the weapons in Assassin’s Creed III.
