Overview:

Revealed at Microsoft's press conference, the game was officially revealed as simply Crackdown. The game will be developed by Reagent Games for the with support from , a studio co-founded by Dave Jones the original creator of Crackdown and . The game will be running on the . A multiplayer beta for the game was announced at , set for 2016.

According to creative director the game takes place in the future of the Crackdown world, but is in a different reality than Crackdown 2.

Gameplay

Cloud computing engine Cloudgine will be used to create the game's core engine, which allows for the destruction of any part of the game's city. As demonstrated , Crackdown 3 connects a subset of buildings to a server allowing them to be fully destructible. The game's campaign is fully playable offline or online with up to 4 players.
