Spookhouse Returns
The game is set in the same universe as Terminal Reality's Nocturne. The secret U.S. government agency known as "Spookhouse" makes a return as well as some of its agents: Chen, the Colonel, General Biggs, and even Nocturne's protagonist, , are all encountered during the tutorial.
In Rustin Parr, the player takes the role of female agent (not to be confused with the famous Doc Holliday of western fame), who had a cameo in Nocturne. Spookhouse's primary objective is to destroy and eradicate "monsters" such as werewolves and vampires, with a secondary objective to capture and "protect" powerful arcane artifacts.
