1. G2 Esports
We predict G2 Esports will win the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023. The German CS GO team is one of the most experienced in the field. They have just under $4 million in tournament winnings and have been crushing tournaments since 2015.
G2 team are in the form after recently winning the BLAST World Final 2022 in Abu Dhabi. The German squad beat Team Vitality, FaZe Clan, and Team Liquid on their road to victory. They stunned some of the top teams with their impressive performance and walked away with $500,000.
After such a strong performance in Abu Dhabi, we expect G2 Esports to come into the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023 beaming with confidence. They have shown they can beat the best teams in the world in a big competition, so they have a great chance of repeating their performance and winning in Poland.
2. FaZe Clan
FaZe Clan is the number 1 CS GO team in the world. They had an epic 2022 season which included wins at the Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne, PGL Major Antwerp 2022 and they even won the Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice.
FaZe will be trying to defend their title and they definitely have the squad to defeat any CS GO team in the world especially if Broky and Twistzz are playing well. Despite having an incredible 2022 season they had a few poor performances at the end of the year. At the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022, they came a shocking 15th.
We expect FaZe Clan to start the 2023 season with a bang. They will be hungry to return to their early 2022 form and start their 2023 campaign with a big win. We can’t wait to see a rematch between FaZe Clan and G2 Esports who got the better of them at the BLAST World Final.
3. Outsiders
Outsiders, formerly known as Virtus.pro are one of the most experienced CS GO teams with $5 million in lifetime winnings. Following their rebranding as Outsiders they have finally found their winning form after initially struggling. They put the CS GO world on notice with a win at the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022 where they took home $500,000.
